Designed to be a beautiful public space for our community to gather, play, and participate in programming all season long. Love Thy Neighborhood Park transformed an underutilized parking lot behind Straight Gate Church into a beautiful outdoor recreation venue featuring a flex outdoor space (for basketball, roller skating, soccer, and street hockey), life-sized chess and checkers games, seating, and greenery. Love Thy Neighborhood Park is the first pilot activation for what the organization is calling “The Neighborhood Passport,” which will activate several vacant lots with well designed, environmentally conscious, themed activations and builds on each street within The Neighborhood.
